99 e300 diesel fuel line o-rings

Ok my bosses 99 e300 is having some air in the fuel lines. from what I have read there are some orings that go to the fuel lines that need to be replaced. As well our mechanic has found some connection points that are wet. Does anybody know the size of those orings? We have a local bearing/oring place that might have them in stock in viton if we have the diminsions. If not where could we order them online?

And other than asking for viton how can I know that it is viable for use with the ULSD that is currently in use? If I order some online do I have to worry that they are original formula and not updated?

I've had no luck with Jim. He had a fire I saw in another thread and wasn't gonna be able to send any out. so I just got a bunch from mcmastercarr. I ordered extra to have in shop. I gotta check out how much they were but can mail you a set. I also got Viton fuel return lines. I could send you what you need.

This is what ya need more or less. You also need the copper washers for delivery valves if you do those. Not a bad idea while you have the intake off. I think I have 6 of those too.

*O-ring sizes for 606 *Diesel*
1 shutoff valve 2.5mm x 12mm ID
9 fuel line 2.5mm x 8mm ID (1 located at fuel filter housing)
3 fuel filter housing 2.5mm x 10mm ID
1 pre-filter 3mm x 18mm ID
6 delivery valves 2mm x 15mm ID (60x delivery valve )
4-5 feet Fuel return lines 1/8 ID 1/4 OD 1/16 wall

Let me know.

word of advice - replace rings one line at a time and do it on a hot engine, start engine after every line - prevents the murder on the starter later on.

I know this is a few years later....I went to the website and it seems the only option is 2mm whereas I need 2.5mm. Can someone point me to a current source? I’m also looking for the copper crush washers. Thanks in advance.

If you are not looking for copper crush washers for the Fuel Injection Pump Delivery Valve Holders eBay and likely amazon sell metric copper crush washer sets.
Harbor Freight has US sized sets but I don't know if they have metric sets.

I paid about $12 for the metric copper crush washer set in the attached picture.
If I use it a few times it will have paid for itself in convince alone.

I’m still looking for a source for the o rings. What size are the crush copper washers? I just want to buy them before I start removing parts. Thanks for the quick response to my original question I’m looking on the mcmastercarr website but the orings shown are not the right thickness...

Grainger has them (the o-rings) in a 10 pack.

Different sellers had different combinations of sizes and thicknesses of copper crush washers. You have to read the sellers ad and decide which seller is selling a selection that has the most of what you think you might need.

Thanks for all your responses. Does the thickness matter? Etc 2.5 mm? I’m shopping but more often than not I’m not seeing the thickness specified
