Ya we have 240D`s here with a Sun Roof. My Bro in Law`s 82 has one.

I actually think a SR will be enough drag to slow down a 240 LOL.
Automatics don`t help either, I can walk away from him with our 80 4-spd.
Us 372K and he with 146K miles.

Today is not a SR day with the rain pouring down, can you believe rain here in Calif. ???
Guess the drought is over now.

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.

I have an 83 240D and was delighted to know that it had a sun roof when I bought it. But sun roof cars should be garaged. That does prevent a lot of problems. When I did the engine switch and at that time we had three cars, it did sit out for a couple of months and got plenty of rain. No leaks! Very happy about that, but now it is inside all of the time and I just leave the sunroof open all summer. I just love it. As soon as it gets cool I close it up and leave it that way till next summer. I also have the dark plastic "windshield" on it and that eliminates the air blasting in. Very nice.
