1987 300D automatic transmission yoke nut
Does anyone know the size of the nut holding the yoke on the back of the automatic transmission on a 1987 300D? Thank you.

Thanks. No wonder I couldn't find a socket to fit. I don't have that size - yet!

Get a deep one to make sure it fits over the pointy bit.
(Technical term for this bit) Picture borrowed from this thread 722.369 tear down (722.3 and 722.4 have same size yoke nut) You might also be better off with an impact socket if you are using air tools on it.
