pin outs for combo turn & cruise switch?

Has anyone seen the pin outs for the combo switch and cruise switch? My 84SD turn signal isn't canceling and I want to test the switch from the parts car before taking the 84 apart.

The cruise switch is a separate entity from the combo/multi-function switch. So if your cruise switch works now you should be fine. It will separate from the multi-function so you can just re-use the existing unit.

Check out this PDF for the wiring:
(hopefully it works)

Cruise control is around page 50 of the PDF (not the mb page numbers)

For the multi-function switch you'll have to jump around I think. Turn signals, headlights, wiper sections should have the info though.

Is your switch tripping back to the off position when you turn the steering wheel ?

No. I pulled the switch from a parts car. Perhaps the mechanical release tab is broken on the driving car. I'll have to look when I won't be driving it.

If the switch is not tripping back to it's at rest position, then it is a mechanical problem, not an electrical one. The problem could be on the switch body or the steering column ring.

I've replaced two or three stalks so far. The problem was always in the stalk and it was never obvious. That little tab was always present. I've never had one with electrical problems, just mechanical.
