Random shot in the dark here but what was the status of the fuel tank? What are the chances that the hard line itself is clogged?

Mine was steel and rusted and i'm still fighting with the aftermath even after installing the plastic tank....

you might try posting your location... I think Winmutt lives near you, he may be available to assist.

Been kind of out of it since Wednesday night, but going to work on it tomorrow.

Fulcrum, I don't see any issues with the lines, I got good clean fuel to the filter.
I think my lack of knowledge on this type of fuel system is the biggest problem.
Thanks RussK

I would adjust the valves before going any further. That could have been the reason it was parked in the first place. At least knowing the valves are adjusted will give you peace of mind, and will cause you to look elsewhere for the problem should it still not start.

Under each injector line is a delivery valve. On the m pumps it is sealed in with a simple rubber o-ring... Search 603 delivery valve seal. I'm SURE there are write ups and links to videos of this job. I rent out the socket for the job.

I'm finding kits that have the copper crush washers and a rubber O-ring.
Are these just to stop external leaks or is the rubber O-ring part of the valve? I did remove the metal lines and found a small sliver of rubber in one ( at top of valve ). maybe it is part of the O-ring that have come apart.
I have seen where the copper crush washer fits in the videos that I have found, but none so far have showed me where the O-ring goes.
thanks Russ

Had a guy from another shop that looked at my Gd, he said it has a bad injector pump so I'm looking for some one who can rebuild it.
I just had a relative that told me I could have there 83 300d (it runs )if I wanted.
I may get it and swap IPs if possible.
Does any body know if they well interchange?

If the '83D is turbo, then NO if yours is N/A. I have a good IP for a non-turbo for sale if you are interested. PM for details.......Rich

Well I just got back my G, I took it to a shop to get it running. It cost me a arm, leg and my 1st born LOL.
they had to replace the injector pump and a few other items, now it starts right up and purrs. well it purrs as good a diesel can anyways.
Now I can get to the rest of the stuff it needs.
Time to order parts

A rare and valuable pump that was. I hope they didn't just chuck it on a heap somewhere because I personally doubt that it was the cause of you're problem.

I had checked every thing, even when it had plenty of fuel being supplied to it wasn't squirting out the top even with the metal lines removed.

There was a diesel additive bottle inside the g when I bought it, I think that was what did it.
I'm just happy it runs, did notice the tach doesn't work now, it was working when we puled it down the road trying to start it.
