K1 spring kit assembly

My new 300d has the typical 2-3 flare, so I ordered the K1 kit from Pelican. I received a bag full of springs with no instructions on assembly/installation. I searched around a bit and found a page on installation, but the photos are missing (old photobucket links).

Can anyone point me in the right direction on install? I'm dropping the pan and replacing the filter and fluid with Mobil 1 ATF this weekend, and I want to take care of the K1 at the same time. I have heard it's easy and takes 10 minutes, but I need a little direction so I don't screw it up!

Thanks!

EDIT* oh, and a related question: How best to turn the torque converter over to access the drain plug, and is there somewhere I can find the torque specs for the plugs and pan bolts?

These instructions: Mercedes w123 Maintenance worked well when I replaced the K1 spring in my E300D.

I do not have the MB manual, but found these values in my notes, Oil Pan - 8 Nm. Drain Plug - 13 Nm.

Uhhhhhhhhgg!

Thanks!

I got the pan plug out on problem, but the TC plug appears to be stripped to some degree :(

The fluid does not look great, but not horrible either. There was evidence of an attempt to change the fluid (the pan bolt was tight coming out). I'm still formulating a plan on how to proceed...I may try my impact gun set to a low air pressure, as I've gotten a lot of bolts that were mostly gone out with that thing.

I very much dislike previous owners, as well as shop monkeys.
