Ok SUPER IMPORTANT for those who do a swap.

The 1235427707- long cable does NOT work with the 4 speed I am using. The square peg end that goes into the transmission will not work with the rectangular hole. It is obvious in the picture of the Febi part that it is the wrong key. I overlooked that as I ordered the part. I don't know what I was thinking while ordering it, as I apparently ordered two...

So in conclusion...check the key. I will be returning the longer cables, and going with the shorter, proper keyed part.
