2.5mm by 12 mm ID is correct. You can find that locally at any industrial rubber or gasket hose place or other place having a lot of industrial supplies and orings. Or MB dealer should have em in stock. We have Industrial Rubber and Gasket here that makes hydraulic hoses and various hoses for isdustry and they have them. Thats what i have. I can drop two in the priority mail rush shipping to you tomorrow if you want though. also the MB dealer should have them. I wouldn't sweat it if you can't find the viton. If you run biodiesel regularly from start it will be fine. The problem is when people run diesel forever and then run b100 and it swells the orings and then go back to desel and it shrinks and starts leaking. A regular one should get you a few years of service regardless.

Sounds like you are almost there. I'll take your experience as a cautionary example of how temperamental these o-ring can be. It can easily happen to me when I go to change out the SOV o-ring on mine in the near future. Hope she's up and running great in short order when you get the new o-ring.

HF sells large sets of viton seals for cheap. Worked well for my AC leaks.

Lots of lessons learned in this adventure... if you use homemade bio like I do keep several viton orings on hand. They are cheap however good quality ones take days to get when ordered. I only got mine last friday.......Someone mentioned the kit at Harbor freight however all the reviews on them was bad....It is MUCH easier to start the engine if you crack the injection lines and crank while watching for fuel, I put paper towels in the 'wells' to stop flooding them. Dont put the crossover manifold and intake on when starting the vehicle. It is so much easier to check for leaks and repair them just in case you pinch an oring like I did.

Thanks to all Rod

SHUTOFF VALVE LEAKING

After trying to start the car I observed the shutoff valve leaking. The car was parked with the nose down but the leak was coming from the side closest to the firewall. Using paper towels on the underside confirmed this. Pulling the shutoff valve the o-ring was perfect . It appears the leak is coming from the side....So back to square one. Will try to rebuild the shutoff valve, I however cant seem to find the thread/ post. Hope it has the o-ring size....ANYONE have the link ??

Thanks Rod

If the shut off valve is leaking, you need to replace it. Not really serviceable.
I got my replacement from Peachparts.com.

UPDATE

I took the shutoff valve off of the car and was able to drive the 4 pins of the 2 end caps out very easily. I used very small screwdrivers to gently pry the 2 end caps off. The orings on each side were brittle and squared off. I found on another site the size of the orings to be 3mm x 25 mm unfortunately after a full day of search locally all I could find at my large diesel shop was 3mm x 24.75mm. After putting them in they seemed to loose going in. After jump starting and running the vehicle for 15 minutes without the intake on the SOV side closest to the firewall started to get wet then a slight drip started. Bit the bullet and bought new SOV from Carquest for $130.00. Installed and ran vehicle for a while without manifold no leaks . Installed manifolds drove car for 20 miles and now it appears I have a damp spot on the firewall side of the SOV. I have given up now waiting to see what develops.
