Most W202s have rusted away here. They were built during the time when water based paint was first tried out.

Hi!

Thanks for all those answers! I'm really new on this forum and already impressed! I hope that some time I'll also be able to help some fellows.

I've never sat in a w201 but already did in a w124 and it's the reason why I want a MB. Size seemed just right but I thought that the tighter package of the w201 could be a good bet.
However I'm now completely convinced that w124 is the way to go. A good inline-6 300D sedan, 5-speed manual, if possible produced between 1989-1993. Hope I'll find such a jewel in perfect condition, concerning wagons versions it would be a desperate quest as most of them in France have been used and abused.
