How long can anti-gel be stored?
Once the bottle is cracked open? I have half a bottle that I am unlikely to need until next winter.

If you could list the ingredients, that would likely help us decide on what might evaporate or degrade. As a first pass, I usually put a couple of layers of something like 'saran wrap' over the opening and then replace the cap.

Theoretically the best storage is at 40 degrees in a blqack glass bottle with all air removed. Unfortunately, that's often hard to do. |
Winter is over inoregon? Must be nice...

60 degrees and sunny yesterday, going to do the same today.
Might get below freezing again but our days of weather in the teens are DONE. I'll keep this bottle around another couple months just in case then dump it in. I only use anti-gel when in the teens, which is fairly seldom here. I used up my little bottle of anti-gel, bought a BIG bottle, got halfway through it, bam summer hits. I did the same thing last year, need to remember to just keep buying the little bottles. |
