is pvc pipe going to stand up to diesel fuel?

I'm trying to build adapters for a tank drain... pvc is easy. .. will fuel eat it up?

According to this chart
https://www.spilltech.com/wcsstore/SpillTechUSCatalogAssetStore/Attachment/documents/ccg/CBOOM.pdf

It should be ok at room temp.

It seemed to stand up pretty well to my WMO concoction of WMO, gasoline and D2. I have some PVC pipes that have been coated in the oil mix for years and no adverse effects have been noted so far.

HDPE is supposed to be a little soft when hot with Diesel. I've had no problems with it. So just because a chart says something doesn't always mean it's the case.

The best test is to soak a piece in Diesel for a few days in warm temps and see what you get.

Outdoor temps only, so it looks like there's no problems! Sweet! I was dreading paying for brass or even galvanized parts...

I've been using a piece of 3/4" Schd 80 CPVC as a dip tube on a transfer pump for D2 on the jobsite. I lost the original dip tube a few years ago, picked up a piece of scrap, cut some threads, screwed it in & joy. I never got around to switching it out (just lazy, I guess) & it's still working.
