The one I got has all the procedure and such. What tools , etc. it's the wiz. It installs a win xp virtual machine with all the Java and requirements and installs a link to wiz and epc. My laptop is running win 7 and it worked great. I'll try to email you something if you need it sooner. It's like 5 DVDs. Good deal for 20.00

Plugged fuel filter and/or leaking o-rings at filter can cause P0087.

A rail pressure regulator controls fuel rail pressure. It has orings in it with teflon seal which can fail and you lose pressure. Also, you have a pump in the tank that, if it fails, will cause a low rail pressure issue because the hi pressure pump is trying to do all the work. Do you have a way to read rail pressure? It is supposed to be at around 12,000 psi or 827k mbars.

Fuel filter was recently replaced. I'll pull the covers off tomorrow, again, and check the filter for any leaks.maybe even get a new filter to test if I get the code again.

I went and test drove a very well maintained '06 with 151 k miles the other day. I decided to hang on to the 05 E320 wagon at this time. Nothing wrong with it, just wish it was a diesel.

Rule 1: It's always the fuel filters.
Rule 2: When it's not always the fuel filters its something else.

A bit pricey, but your back will thank you if you do a big job like this.
I've had one similar to this for years, a bit longer top pad.

It's a real godsend when I work on my Dodge-Cummins 4WD, saves my back. The kids called it the diving board.

I protect the fenders with foam and lay a 2 x 10 plank across the fenders and lay card board over the plank if I need more support. Works for me.

Congrats on the purchase. Did you get a PPI before comitting? What are you getting for hwy MPG? Hope you are getting more than the 32 MPG that SRJ is getting when others gets 47. Maybe that's why his is so cheap, whatever that may be.

on the highway im seeing around 33-34 MPG's at 70 MPH. I also do not have the original wheels, the AMG wheels are a little heavier and wider.

I wish I had the person doing the PPI for me pull the engine covers and check for black death but honestly I caught it at the right time and its not a terrible mess. I got the car I wanted with the options I wanted as well and it was a good price

Dealership I called said they will remove and replace the injector seals for $504 after tax. That includes parts and labor. The service adviser said that the techs there were very familiar with the job and said it would take 2.5 hours to R/R. I'd like to use the honda seals since they are a bit better than OEM, however, if the dealership does it they warranty their work and parts if I am not mistaken.

I would jump all over that if you need to drive the car . The fsm wiz procedure has about 4 separate tools. One is if they are really stuck. As fun as it would be , the thought of a couple hundred in tools and maybe weeks without the car , I'd be tempted to go with them.

But our dealer has like a 2 week backup.

Once you fix the fuel leak, you should be at 37 or 38. That's what I get. Whoever said they get 47 doesn't drive in a place with hills or has some tune and is a serious hypermiler. Maybe stock you can get 47mpg on a flat road at 60 mph and a tail wind.
