Well heres one for $3,100 less.... wow.

Dell D630 Mercedes Benz Diagnostics Xentry Das Star SDS Sdconnect C3 Multiplexer | eBay

The SBC system must be put to sleep before the brake pads or rotors are changed out. I've heard you can disconnect the battery and un-hook the plug to the SBC actuator to disable it but I've not tried that method.

I only disconnect the connector to the SBC unit to work on brakes.

Key NOT in ignition
Disconnect SBC connector
Do brake work.
Reconnect SBC
Upon Key on, car never knew SBC was even disconnected.

It's as simple as that.

It's honestly the most useful car I have ever owned. Three days into owning it I removed the rear seats and hauled a ton of free electronics for an event, Star Wars stuff, and my grill.

All 6 injectors had a very very very severe case of Black Death. I had noticed it when I bought it but forgot about it. I wasn't interested in mangling injectors or head threads so I dumped it. I got a decent amount for it and picked up the Element

Didn't know that. Glad you decided to move on to a Honda Element then.
