Brake dust:
Get Eagle One mag or chrome cleaner and a tire brush. On swipe and hose it off. About once a month. If you want them pristine all the time clean every two weeks.

Charlie:
If I want them even decently clean, I'd have to clean them about every 2-3 days at the rate the dust is accumulating. I'm ordering the shields.

Throwing in my 2 cents...
My car produced that ungodly brake dust, even after I got new brakes (which is a good thing braking wise). Then after I had my car in for a 50 some point inspection I noticed the dust is not near as bad. I had the tires rotated, so maybe they put dust gaurds on? I didn't see any charge for them in my bill... But I don't know. All I know is I don't have to clean the wheels every week!
