Yeah...my 98 with heated seats, ABS, ESP, and Michelin snows.

Seriously...I take the 84 out when it's not dangerous and do whatever I can to protect the 91 from salt. But the 98 is very sure-footed in the snow.

That's a lot like how my 220D looked after driving five hours through a snowstorm in CT, NY, and PA late January on a trip from Connecticut to South Carolina. It looked like a big hunk of ice, dirt, and salt with a couple lights poking out the front.

Here's a photo of my vehicle on another snowy winter day getting ready to head into the garage for an oil change:

Noah has a 220D, w115 chassis.

You guys make me feel like a wimp. My w115 front and rear windshield seals are totally rotted and I made the mistake of fixing all the rust before I fixed the cause of the rust. Genius! So any rain while I am out puts me into a panic because I have patched all the holes where the rain used to leave my car. Sad, but true.

W116 here. More rust than steel, accelerator pedal fell off (new nickname: Nubbin), and no dash lights.

But he was free, has good snow tires, and gets the job done.

That's a great pic of the W114. I couldn't get the heater to blow strong enough heat to clear the windshield on my car. How strong is your blower? I can only use the car in mid spring & summer because of that..

Now Iam the opposite, the 84 would be in the warm shop/garage and the W124 would be the winter beater.

The blower in my car does a pretty good job but it's most effective when I divert all the output to the windshield. That means cold feet.

So awesome to see old Benz's in deep snow. I am warm down in Fl but still very jealous being a transplanted NY'er who spent many winter upstate too.

Look forward to seeing more pics and angles ....
