1998 E300D P0243 after intake R and R?
I am still struggling to get this car back on the road, I finally got all the parts to change the fuel lines and stop it from pouring diesel into the gutter in front of my house, but after I drove it about 5 miles it set the P0243 code and seems to have no boost.
There is nothing i can see that isn't put back together the way it was, although I did discover that someone had previously snapped the tab off the intake where the intercooler hose is supposed to be bolted to it. Edit, it was actually way simpler than i thought, the other end of the hose going to the EGR had come loose. Why it sets a code for the wastegate who knows, but maybe it will work properly now. |

Yep, same sorta thing happened to me. Hose from egr to map sensor had a leak, replaced hose and voila back in business.
Did you figure out which/what fuel line is the problem?
