The video isn't the best, but this seemed like a lot of play to me. Car has about 210K. Any thoughts?

In my experience, a turbo should have 0.00 axial play (in out), little radial (side to side) play for journal bearings and 0.00 radial play on ball bearings.

I messed up a turbo on my truck by running too much boost. The turbine was literally trying to push the shaft straight through the center housing from all the drive pressure. This continued until the compressor contacted the housing and destroyed itself.

You both are right ultimately; just trying to wait until I can rebuild it. I don't drive it much, mostly in town nowadays.
