Has anyone used " KARLYN " Motor Mounts ? Any feed back appreciated or anyone know were to buy lemforder parts , everyone mentions them but its a mystery to me were to purchase them

I put a pair of Karlyn mounts in a W123 240D a few years ago. They were made in Thailand. They lasted about 3,500 miles, a little less than a year.

never heard of them, but what ever you do, dont use Anchor industries. their mounts are absolute JUNK. just replaced the passenger side with a unit from pelican parts. the anchor unit lasted 9 days before it collapsed and spewed glycol all over the engine.

If your 240D is a W123 some people have used a pair of the 617 Turbo Diesel Mounts with no issues.
If you do that Phoenix Motor Mounts = the Mercedes Dealer Motor Mounts = Lemförder/Lemfoerder/Lemforder Motor Mounts; they are made in Turkey.
They can be bought for less then $25 + shipping.

found Lemforder motor mounts on Amazon they are for a 300 D but as you all know THE FIT

The cheap ones (~$15 ebay) have worked OK for me in my 1984 300D for over a year. Might have said "Anchor" on the box (India). I did fill the open space w/ black polyurethane caulk first (PL1 gutter/roof from Home Depot). I recently filled another pair for my 1985 300D and will give it 6 months to cure. The cheap mounts there are starting to look pregnant after maybe 3 years (didn't fill), installed when I swapped the motor.

Anyone know what these are # 1232413013MY Insulator Carrier Kit ? found these at a site that Carries Lemforder Mounts
