'97 E300 -Slight "hiccup" on light throttle acceleration

Upon pulling away from a stop (and noticeable mostly on light throttle acceleration), I've noticed an occasional hesitation or "hiccup." Any ideas on what the culprit is with this? I don't notice any air bubbles in the fuel lines and the fuel filters were changed less than 2,000 miles ago. Could this be a vaccuum issue? Any help would be appreciated!

If you left foot brake, as I do, your accelerator will be ignored until you lift your left foot all the way off the brake. If you left foot brake try it to see if that explains your hesitation. If you right foot brake, it must be some other problem.

Mine first did it at 60mph on cruise. Kept gettting worse. Injection pump failure.

Found the fault! It was nothing but a cracked vaccuum hose. $1 worth of rubber hose. Problem solved. Hesitation gone!
