97 E300 Diesel leaking fuel

My 97 E300 is leaking fuel from the shut off valve area. I replaced the o-ring behind it but it is still leaking. I have ordered another from Mercedes and the fuel lines that go to the shut off valve but I'm trying to get ideas. I put a paper towel under it and it seems the fuel is definitely leaking between the shut off valve and the injection pump and not from the bottom fuel line. Do you guys have any ideas? I'm still changing the fuel lines, etc (they will come in on friday) but I don't think that will fix my problem. New SOV is 130 bucks at the dealer!

Here is a video of the leak https://youtu.be/w3SnnbSqDBQ

Wow, that's a lot of fuel leaking. Not good.

The first o-ring you used, was it an MB part or some other replacement?

If not I would get that factory part and inspect all other connections at the valve.

Figured it out, internal o-ring inside the shutoff valve was bad so I went to autozone and found one that was close to the same (Mercedes will only sell you the whole shut off valve apparently) and all is good fuel leaks wise at least. Still have to try and get the car started now that there is a bunch of air in the lines!

Its been a while sicne I've been here - glad its fixed - next time get a Viton o ring kit for all the o rings on your ride and use the best. ( they're biod proof as well)

BTW, I have the same leak developed, but it may be the lower fuel fitting.
