Pretty much always ran around 100 with a/c on hot days around Washington, D.C., but then the temp gauge became really jumpy. I grounded the back of the cluster solidly to the body in three places and my jumpy gauge problem went away.

Now I think I'm getting a more accurate reading and the temp climbs up over 100 and it hasn't been hot once this year.

Always ran G-05, recent new water pump, new housing, new expansion tank, new tank cap, and new thermostat. In 2013, I replaced the condenser which gave me a chance to really clean out the radiator so I doubt there is much junk and bugs in there.

Blackstone lab report from 500 miles ago showed no signs of coolant in the oil so I doubt it's a head gasket issue. All I can think of is that the radiator is clogging up.

What radiator do forum members suggest?

The difference in price between the MB unit and everything else is pretty big.
