Rear window switch -- broken or jammed?
I had a passenger in my back seat for the first time in a long while, and they noted that the window switch was broken. I took some pictures, and want advice on how to get at it without breaking anything else (namely the black trim piece). I could not see any fasteners, so I assume it pops out somehow?
It looks like the black trim is pressing the button to the up position, which may explain why my window randomly stopped working a while back. Anyone seen this before?

Ya need a plastic trim remover.
Those are held in place with plastic fingers.

Ah, ok. I'm deadly afraid of breaking trim in a car this old...

Ya might want to wander over to your local pik a part and practice.
They do pop right off with the right tool.

That's a good idea. I'll have to see if any yards around here have any of these cars in them. I need a piece of trim for the front right speaker anyway, and may need a replacement for that switch.

Before you go.. notebook and pen in hand.. make several 360's around the MB.
Write down everything you might need or want. Ya never know what you will find. If its not written down you might overlook it.
