Petr,
Excellent, I love it! Very useful to show both failed lifters and normal lifters. Will you try to clean/fix the failed lifters? Here is a video showing how to take them apart and clean them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySf0r8GGMOY These are lifters from a VW engine, but they are made by INA who also makes lifters for MB.

Yes x2 please keep them coming. This is one timely for me because I need to check my lifters---err hydraulic compensators.

I used to put the 603 lifters on the bench...pour oil into their cup and then push with a hammer handle the center part.....Those that didn't pump oil only....but instead air bubbles...I rejected.....There obviously is a seal that wears in these lifters.....

Great video, thanks.
A quick tip for anyone replacing the lifters without renewing. Once removed they will expand on their own, make sure the center piece is squeezed back using a vice with protected jaws. Reason being is they will keep the valves open not allowing full compression. If this happens it's either removal or go out each night rotating the cam onto a different set of lifters until they push out the oil.

I didn't find another way...but your idea sounds valid.....The ones I put back in..I believed pumped oil...and they did!......
