Diesel Return Line Alternative
I read several posts here earlier this week about where to purchase diesel return line for my 87 300D. Several mentioned using polyurethane tubing.
I found these options on McMaster: McMaster-Carr (I narrowed the search to include biodiesel or diesel only.) I like the idea of clear tubing. Will any of the clear options rated for diesel work properly? I notice they carry different temperature "zones". Higher is better, correct? Thank You!

This is what some Members use on their 300Ds. You need to check if yours is the same ID or not. And, of course you don't need to buy 50 feet of it.
The below is from My notes. I have never tried it. "Injector return hose plastic tube any lawnmower/chainsaw repair shop should have hose that will work too. I bought a 50' box of 1/8" tygon clear fuel hose and the stuff holds up for about 3 years. cost me like 15.00 The brand I used is Oregon, it is a Tygon fuel hose. Tygothane (Saint Gobain is the Manufacturer) U.S. Plastics is the retailer." I thought that I read that the newest return Line from Mercedes is Viton but that was only mentioned in passing and not confirmed. Europe had been more active in mixing Boidiesl with Diesel Fuel you can get at the Pump.

X2 on Tygon.
I have that on both my cars. Seems to have held up OK, but no long term data yet.
