Maxton is dead - has been for 3 years or so. Bummer for me but the new track is MUCH nicer and the locals are great. They seem to really enjoy having us there and the Maxton/Laurinberg bunch for the most part didn't seem to care if we were there or not.

Anyhow - I'll always have the E/CPRO record (250" inline six in a '78 Camaro) at Maxton as the books are closed there. The tracks are too different to make valid comparisons between the 2 venues so we started over.

I don't think you were on the official website if all you got was Maxton info. Try . Of course I have it bookmarked but that is unchanged since the move.

Steve - if you don't mind me asking, what kind of money are we talking about to have Goran build me a pump? I have to start saving my pennies and it would be helpful to have an approximate $ amount (not asking you to spill the beans on what you have invested, just a ballpark) so I know when I have enough SS checks.

Dan
