Diesel price lower than gas

Last week I noticed most sations around here had diesel and gasoline pegged equally at about $2.60 to $2.70. Yesterday I saw one had increased gas to $2.73 with diesel still at $2.70. Yeehah! Maybe the trend will continue

Yeah there is that other thread on Diesel vs gas,

Cheapest here in town was $2.77 on Tuesday, and the highest took a jump to $2.99. It`s much cheaper here in Nevada than Calif.

Tuesday I too a run over the hill to Kali, and was running down I-5 and saw a small hand painted sign, Diesel $3.03 at Westly. Take the off ramp, and there is a Shell for $3.79, go under the freeway and a chevron for $3.69.

Take a left and go own about 1/2 mile, several closed restaurants and a couple closed gas stations, Down at the end is an old run down truck Stop.
They have the storage fuel tanks above ground probably a dozen or so. And quite a few trucks fueling up. They had one small nozel for cars and PU`s. So $3.03 looked pretty good.
This is down in Calif`s Central valley where you are out in the middle of no where, very dry and desolate. Around where you turn off for the Modesto Tulare area.

Cheapest I found in Kali was $3.13 in Placerville on Hwy 50.

.76¢ difference from the Shell and they probably get the fuel from the same Distributor.

I recall $3.19/gal for fossil diesel and $3.09 for Propel's Diesel HPR last night in Sacramento. The former was Shell and you can find fossil diesel cheaper.

Post Fuel Prices

Don't expect this situation to last very long .

I filled up @ $3.09 the other day and was pleased , then I went three blocks further and discovered $2.99........

I drive 800 miles every 7 days so the pennies really do add up fast .

Charlie I wish you were closer , I have three W-123's all always need some little thing .
