disabling vacuum system

I put an 85 turbo diesel motor into a toyota pickup and will be using the manual shut off button to kill the engine. If that is the case then will i only need to run a hose from the vacuum pump to the brake booster? There are a few vacuum pieces on top of the injection pump i was not sure about.

tranny?

If you also swapped in the MB transmission, you will need vacuum for the shift modulator. Other than that nothing more other than brakes.

I dumped ALL my vacuum and fab'd a solenoid to shut the engine off. Take a look at my build thread if interested. To make the whole deal work I converted the S-10 to manual brakes which work fine. Not sure if that's an option on the 'Yoda.

If you're going to have a vacuum source, you might as well use a vacuum solenoid and have the engine shut off with the key too.

One of the vacuum ports on the IP is the vacuum shutoff, another is the ALDA, which needs to be connected to intake manifold pressure.

The rest I haven't bothered with.
