Extend your concept, why not post it in Tech, Car for Sale, Parts for Sale, Alternate Fuel plus others? Enough said.

I do not go to any of those forums.... so I do not know if they are remiss in checking their pm's..... I have direct evidence that some of our forum do not see some of them...
You would not want me to lump all PP members into the same category without direct evidence... would you ?
and clearly... someone like you would likely object....

Yeah, Iam in DD, and very seldom venture out of it. And OD, who need that?

OH my PM`s? Yeah Iam usually 2 or 3 from being filled up.

The PM sent is classic like, 'duh.'

It's use is not always to notify of a PM.

Several things can send me into my man period, including running out of junk food, expensive diesel, stupid drivers, and really hot weather.

Don't expect a MOD would post such a male chauvinist comment. No wonder ladies stay away from DD.

It's 90*F, 90%RH, and you've only had a breakfast burrito to eat (6 hours ago).

Would a jury convict?

If people go to ' options ' and set it ' correctly '.. a POP up will appear when one signs into the forum...when new pms have arrived....
so technically ' checking pms' is not necessary in that event....
it is also called ' notifications '.......
It all depends on whether you think you might be missing timely good information ....
Particularly if you have just started a new Thread....
but a couple of times a week would be an improvement over some people's past habits... once every six months , for example , makes sharing information less rewarding.... for both people..
