Good place to tap into power w126

I have quite a few mods to install on my 300sd and need help finding a good place to tap into the starter switch. Is there a good place in the fuse box or maybe the glow plug harness from the key? I've switched to a Manuel glow system.

This is the 85?

I would look to see if this one has the add-on fuse holder next to the main fuse panel that was meant for the cell phone. Although you may be too early for that. The 85 126 still has the 123-style fuse panel, right?

I think the 86 and up got the X30 block under the dash and fuse panel similar to the 124s.

The original feed for the gp relay is Unswitched, and unfused, good for over 50 amps continuos... And it runs under the cowling to the fuse area.

The three bolt jumper box from the alternator to the starter is also a good place to tap in. It also is where you can easily connect a starter bump switch.

It won't drain my battery over night will it? I'm adding an low psi electric pump and a fuel heater. My lift pump is tired and I'm not in the mood to rebuild it quite yet

Ok. The glow plug harness was prefect. In case any one is wondering. Not the main power one. But the one coming from the starter switch on the end of the key.
