Mercedes joke

My mechanic told me this today.

True story, but funny....

Someone had a Mercedes for sale online. After the buyer bought it, he suspected the previous owner had rolled the odometer back to get more money for the car.

Someone else said Mercedes owners are always bragging about how many miles they have on their cars. So if anything, they probably rolled the odometer FORWARD to increase the miles to get more money for the car.

If you're in the Atlanta area this is very well possible. I'd be interested to know what the car was the guy in question purchased. There's an Atlanta Craigslist car flipper/scammer who's buying cars cheap and misleading buyers about the cars' actual condition and history to ask top dollar for them.

See the Craigslist alert thread for an update I recently posted about on the scammer in question and his most recent car he's selling. I'm not the only member here that's dealt with him. It'd be nice if anyone local would take the time to look at his most recent car he's selling to truly assess the car he's selling.
