My Mercedes won't start w115 300d 1976

Hey everyone
I have a w115 that I cannot get to run and am looking for some clues. The car ran when we bought it 9 or so years ago. Sat for a while then tried to fill with fuel and it died. I Later got it running after cleaning the fuel system out. Didn't even make it around the block Now I have fuel cell in the car. It cranks over and fires but won't run. I primed the system with an electic inline pump... Any Ideas or thoughts?

Probably still have air in the lines. Have you cracked each injector nut and verified fuel is present when cranking? When you cleaned out the fuel system did you pull out and clean the tank strainer?

In order:

#1. BAD FUEL.
#2. Glow plug circuit issue.
#3. Bypass valve stuck open or spring damage.
#4. Failed lift pump valves.
#5. Valve adjustment.
#6. Weak battery or starter = slow crank.
#7. Plugged injectors.
#8. Gummed delivery valves.

A video would help diagnosis.

If it's the old style one (white IIRC), you unscrew it and then start pumping. If it's been changed to the newer style (black IIRC) then you don't have to unscrew it. Pump it until it gets noticeably more difficult to push and then try starting.
