2005 CDI inside Cabin filter
 

I purchased the two piece charcoal inside cabin filter for my CDI, after sifting through the maintenance records and not being able to find a replacement history on it.

So i pull of the plastic panel under the glovebox, and don't even see slots where they would go in. Instead I found a void.

Did the early 05s built in 04 not have these?

I think it's by the RH hood hinge, access from the engine compartment.

^There's no charcoal filters on my 2006 E320 CDI - that I know of. On the 05s? Not sure.

The ribbed paper filter is the only one I know of on mine. I changed it out, but the previous one didn't need changing.
