722.6 Leaks
After removing the encapsulation panels, cleaning things off, and driving about 40 miles I think I'm able to get a better feel for leaks on the 98. My leaking rack has a leak that's slow to the point of virtually non-existent. What I notice, however, are some leaks at the bottom of the torque converter.
92k miles, transmission well maintained. Fluid and filter changed at 73k, leaking adapter plug replaced at that point. For the minimal leak of ATF I'm seeing at the TC, what are likely candidates? I know most 722.6 leaks are due to the adapter plug...but that in a small percentage of cases the cause is the shifter mechanism bellow. Could that be what I'm seeing? Front pump seal? TC drain bolt? BTW this transmission was RESEALED by the dealer at 40k miles.

The other possibility is that it's the reddish PS fluid (made reddish by the Lucas stop leak) that splashed into the TC area....hadn't thought of that at first.
