bulbs keep falling out
 

the bulbs on my passenger side tail light keep falling out of the socket thing. probably co-incidence but it didn't start until recently...when i replaced the lens.

it seems that the socket just isn't tight enough...or is there some trick that i'm missing?

We have no idea what car you have. For most, you can just bend the electrical contacts w/ a little screwdriver to tighten them. Worst-case, on newer cars w/ all plastic terminals, I would super-glue an LED bulb in since it should last forever.

Clean the terminal with sand paper, bend it up as Bill suggested, and it should be OK.

The bulb has two feet that go into slots in the holder. You push the bulb in, and then twist it 90 degrees. That locks the bulb in place.

I agree with others. Just bend up the metal strip that makes contact with the bottom of the bulb. That will increase the tension between the bulb's little nubs and the socket.
