Air Intake Pipe Bellows-220D
Hello,
Does any one know if the oval shaped rubber bellows that connect the plastic intake pipe to the metal oil bath canister is available? Mine has deteriorated and needs to be replaced. Picture attached. Thanks |

I replaced both of mine in April 2014. They were special order through Pelican but I got them. The 180 part number goes between the pipe and the air filter top. The 615 number goes between the throttle body and the pipe. If one is gone the other is close. Get both - they're cheap.
180-094-02-91-MBZ $12.00 1 $12.00 Genuine Mercedes-Benz Part: FILLER HOSE VLRUB 615-094-02-91-MBZ $14.50 1 $14.50 Genuine Mercedes-Benz Part: FILLER HOSE VLRUB Check your crankcase ventilation hoses too. Mine were in poor shape.

Other part numbers of interest for the air intake system.
000-094-29-80 $11.50 Air filter housing seal 615-016-00-81 $11.00 Crank case vent elbow 615-016-00-23 $28.50 Crank case vent tee 000-094-04-85 $33.00 Rubber air filter mount (side) 1 required 615-094-00-85 $29.25 Rubber air filter mount (bottom) 2 required I ended up buying all of them though you could skip the mounts if yours are ok. The seals and hoses are important particularly for a Diesel. Dust and dirt in a high compression unthrottled engine is not good. Prices are from Pelican Good luck!

Have you fired this car up yet?
I'll be in Chicago all next week with my 1972 220D. I'll love to see how yours is coming along. |

Do you know if the clamps are available? Are they special clamps?
To noahlambert: It runs but I removed the radiator and flushed out the system among other items. Have not installed the radiator yet. |
