Where I've been and what I've been doing

So. We finally sat down at did our retirement planning. Big spreadsheet, lots of numbers arranged in columns and rows. Money looks ok. What's missing in our retirement plan ? We don't have a convertible in the garage. We used to always have a convertible in the garage. Great fun, but rattly, leaky, British death traps. When we moved up north to a mile long path through the woods for a driveway, those cars fell by the wayside like the parts what would trail behind them.

We looked around and decided a SLK would fit the bill. In short order I found this one in LA. One owner, maintained, pretty color, affordable. We flew out on July 1st and spend 10 days driving it home via the Pacific Coast Hwy., Columbia River gorge, Clearwater river gorge, over Lolo pass, going-to-the-sun road in Glacier Nat'l Park, then the flat northern plains of eastern Montana and North Dakota.

I wonder if a 602 would fit.....

Age has advantages. Some might say it's a dual edged sword.

Up a 6% grade
Cruise set at 65
106F outside
A/C on inside
Coolant gauge shows 90C

I am pretty sure that the cooling system is fine.
