You probably have a bad or weakening glow plug. The cylinder misses until enough TDC cycles occur and that cylinder warms up.

Does it miss right at startup or does it take about a minute before it misses? Bad glow plugs are usually indicated by the glow plug lamp. Check and monitor your coolant levels for the next several months.

I would first a complete check on all the glow plugs, glow plug relay, and glow plug relay fuse if applicable. Then secondly I would check all the fuel line connections (especially for the suspect cylinder) to eliminate any minor fuel leak/air intrusion. Lastly monitor all fluids and see how it goes. I'm betting on a weak/bad glow plug.
