300SD hub W126 vs W123
Yesterday - my left rear wheel came off and went 300 yards down the road. I pulled over immediately - after a few hours I got the car home. Looks like lugnuts buggered the threads as they exited the hub. I have extra lug nuts. Does anyone know if W126 and W123 hubs are the same? - as I know where a W123 parts car is sitting.

first gen 126's shared many parts with the 123's, know with certainty that the trailing arms interchange. so likely the hub will also.

Wow, glad you or anyone else wasn't hurt!
1st Gen W126 (up to 1985) is the same as W123. It will likely be easier to just swap the entire control arm. Plus, you won't be beating on an already used hub/wheel bearing. Were there any symptoms noticed leading up to this??? Was it just a sudden catastrophic failure???
