W124 Blend Door Temporary Fix?
So on dads 1992 300D 2.5, the AC works but it only really comes out of dash and at your feet regardless of setting. Even on high the air barely comes out of the side vents and center vent. If you are going highway speeds and vent the sunroof you can get enough cold air flowing through the center vent to be comfortable.
I was wondering if someone could point me towards which vacuum pod directs the air out of the dash vents and if I could access it through the glovebox or behind the CCU to temporarily jamb it in the dash vent position to help stay cool better in the summer until I can replace the pod or find the vacuum leak, whichever is causing it.

I won't know until I do a little mighty-vac testing but it sounds like I have a bad diverter pod which is not temporarily fixable.
Thanks for the link!
