Very good eye it is actually a 250d. It has crank windows & power sunroof that doesn't work at the moment. Need to replace the door handles that has screws on it...

How slow is it compared to your 300e for example? I kind of like the idea of a poverty spec 124.

I can compare it to my 300d 2.5 turbo
It lacks the kick of the turbo but being a manual it makes up on the straightaways.
Acceleration is a little slower great cruiser. Haven't driven it out on the highways so can't compare that one yet. Poverty spec it has no Abs, no computers on the car..
My other 300d 5 speed has a computer box in it.

I think swapping in a tachometer and the smaller late steering wheel would make it perfect (for me at least). I would try cleaning the contacts on the sunroof switch first. Also like the no knee bolster dashboard. A lot more knee room.

Thanks..
The owner gave me a call to see if i wanted a project car. Unfortunately the car hit a rock & broke the oil pan and all the oil went.. Car is either going to the wrecking yard or me. Of course i took the car for obvious reasons. The car is located 200 kms away so i had to pick it up.. Spent the whole day retrieving it.
No cellular signal or phone available in the area. Had to travel with an address that didn't register on the gps.. Good thing i asked for some landmarks around the area.. Took me around two hours to get there looking for a car parked somewhere nowhere lol... Luckily i found it hidden on the side of the road.. I gave the owners a ride back too in my 2.5 since they are stranded over there..

Yes, luckily he gave it to me and it came with two keys he kept the ski rack. I originally wanted the roof rack before.
