Laser Rust Removal

Any of you guys seen this yet? Laser rust removal.

Could have a whole car stripped down in a couple hours.

1000 Watts High Power Laser Systems - cleanLASER

Surface Preparation and Cleaning with Laser Technology

It's made in Germany by Clean LASER and has a huge computerized power supply - very high-tech stuff! Surprisingly, it is very very low maintenance with touch screen controls and doesn't require any advanced skills or training to use it. Shown in the video is the high power CL 1,000 (1000 Watts) equipped with the handheld LASER Optic. This is the high production model for big projects and the cost of that unit with that handheld optic - through one of their partners, Adapt LASER Systems (a distributor) is $450,000.00. The smallest unit is $135,000.00. Very impressive technology! ...many applications - used in big industries, automotive plants, nuclear power plants, ships, etc.... was also used to delicately clean limestone at the Egyptian Pyramids

Soon HF will have these down to an acceptable price level.

By the time HF gets it down to affordable levels my 84 123 would be a rusted pile of flakes. It's already a rusted pile...just not flaky yet.

Seriously though, that's amazing.

I think I'm in love? Or is there some other reason I have a tingly feeling in my naughty parts?

This would be good in the tool rental program.

$450K deposit
$25K tool use
$xx shipping
$xx insurance

Could have it paid off after about 18 rentals.

Unhappy

Well, I was going to order up one of each but if HF is jumping on this technology I might as well wait a bit so I can pick them up locally.

Chump change (though I'm not that chump!).

Backpack unit with 20W starts at $80,000.00. The CL 1000, as featured on the You Tube or the TV show, starts at $480,000.00.

Have they been in some unusual places lately? A laser treatment may be in order.
