Help - Need Pic of Rear of IP Pump

So I went to advance my IP timing. I loosened all 3 nuts on the front of the pump with little effort then went searching for the rear one. Either someone pulled the rear bracket or I'm looking in absolutely the wrong place. My Google search failed to turn up anything looking like a bracket back there. Anyone have a pic??

Thanks

Dan

I have pulled several pumps from the 617 families and never have I seen a rear bracket.

Thanks guys! Pretty sure I don't have one. Now if I can figure out why my IP doesn't move!

Mine, in fact, DID have the rear bracket. It was fairly easy to pull the bolts on the block and I'm still looking for the set-up to get to the bolt that goes into the pump. I was able to advance the pump about 3/16 of an inch from the mark that indicated factory timing (mine had been marked at some point). It was still a stinker to turn - those darn steel spark plug wires are a pain to bend!

When I find the right combination of tools I'll pull that bracket. Anyone need one?

Dan

If you pull the bracket, how will you connect the "throttle" return spring?

The spring might be floating around the shop somewhere - been gone for a year or more. I'm using a spring on my homebrew linkage. Oh, and that's a "rack" return spring.

Looks like I'll need to remove my oil cooler bypass fittings to get in there and pull the bolt that goes into the IP. It can wait until after the meet.
