An air filter could be fabricated by coming up with a hose that fits and clamps to the turbo inlet with one of the cone filters being installed oh the other end.

It's a 240D. No turbo. :)

Here is one on CL, guy claims it fits many year models. But definitely not a Turbo engine.

Could be a 82 or 83 240d, as it doesn`t have the vacuum discharge line going to the Lid.

I got the air cleaner back on there with some pieces of plate metal for now until the new one arrives.
