Need Help Identifying a Part

The following part has failed, diesel fuel is coming out of it. The fuel hoses connect to it.

Please let me know the name of the part so I can order a replacement.

1993 300D 2.5 Turbo Diesel

I can't access the epc, right now, I need to do some computer mojo to get it back, I'll try and look that up.

Not familiar with that engine, near the filter?

Its more next to the engine block, the mini fuel filter attaches to it.

I don't show that as a separate part - but as the fuel thermostat assembly. There is no reference # to it specifically.

It's the fuel heater/thermostat. Coolant passes through it, as well as fuel. You can bypass it temporarily, but the engine will run better if you replace it.

Are fuel thermostat parts NLA? MB used to sell the thermostat as an assembly, individual parts and a repair kit. Most likely you need the o-ring behind the plastic nipple.
