83 300D Driver's window only goes halfway down!

My 83 300D Driver's window only goes halfway down. I have the door cover off, not sure what to look for. The motor works, the window just stops dropping at the halfway mark. It moves up and closes fine.

Are all the bolts tight? I've seen window regulators bind up a bit when they weren't firmly bolted in place.

Thanks, Magic. The metal strip at the bottom of the window glass has rusted and peeled away on the far right which was obstructing the downward motion when it hit the window motor. I snapped it off so it works now. Is this metal strip integral to the window glass or can it be replace separately? Anyone know?

I don't know if it's available separately, It might be easiest to pop in a used window. Where in CT are you?

I have spare glass, but Greenwich is about as far away as you can get from where I am and still be in CT.

The metal part that is attached to the bottom of the Window is not a seperate Part. However, someone found that there is some part of shelving you can get at IKIA that works.

I will look but I don't think I saved the thread in my Notes.

Added: I think I found it I was spelling Ikea wrong at first.
