trunk star

I just checked out fastlane and I just wnat to know which one i am supposed to get


the one that says -A-194021
or the one that says -A-194022

Its for my 83 300SD

Those are serial numbers. Look at the last 6 numbers of your vin #., see where it falls with regard to those listed. I didn't realize they changed the trunk stars during the production run of the 126 series.

My trunk star just arrived from fastlane. It did not come with any bolts or anything. How should I secure it to the trunk? Do i just need to go out and fin a bolt that fits?

oh maybe it is but it looked like it was a bolt on. i think i remeber someone saying not to over tighten the bolt because it might break easily.

I honestly don't know... All the wording and stuff I've worked with has all be glued. I am assuming the stuff on these cars is too because my 2.2 is crooked.
