Spare parts for emergencies: must haves!

I think it is obvious that for must of us, housing a warehouse full of spare parts is impractical. That said, I believe the following items are necessary for emergency repairs:

1. Alternator
2. spare alternator mount/adjustor bolt
3. Starter
4. Water pump

Also, genuine Bosh for the alternator and starter, genuine mercedes benz for the water pump. If one of these three dies unexpectedly, your car is dead. Keeping these parts on the shelf will allow you to make the repair quickly and get you back on the road.....
