blowing the same fuse over and over?

The fuse which regulates my right low beam and my fog lights has blown twice over the last few days. I changed out all of the fuses and gently cleaned all connections. What up?

Try disconnecting the battery, install the fuse, then reconnect and test the lights. If it's repeatedly blowing, and you are sure you're installing the correct size fuse, then you have a short somewhere. Check all the wiring for those lights for crimps, torn insulation, loose/dirty connectors, etc. Don't use a bigger fuse, or bridge it with anything, you can cause yourself MUCH bigger problems than a blown fuse! (Melted wiring, bad switches, BURNING CAR!!! )

Closely check the moulded plug that attatches to the bulb! On my SDL the wiring had gotten very hot and melted and burned the plastic compound, it had not shorted but a close examination showed the wires had probably moved within the molten plastic and where almost touching! I replaced both as the second one showed signs of overheating also.

If you are sure there are no shorts on the wires and connectors, there could be an intermittent short inside the bulb.
Take the bulb out, turn on the headlight see if fuse would be blown.
