Anyone around Greenville, SC interested in replacing lower ball joints for cash?

I just think it's too vast a project for me to undertake without a good work space. If it can be done in a day or less I'd be happy to drive a few miles.

I also lack the tools and know how for this job.

Now who was it who was offering refurbished spindle assemblies with new ball joints fitted?

I'll try and remember that one...

...assuming that would be a go-er for you?

I was thinking someone would take this from start to finish. If I could take them the front end apart I can handle pressing the ball joints out and back in.

Really, "I'm getting too old for this chit."

You may want to consider putting on an Energy Suspension boot in place of the boot that comes with the new ball joint. See post #35 needed work: engine mount, shifter bushings and driver's side lower ball joint

It is not pleated like conventional boots which always fail at the pleats. Energy Suspension dust boot is a superior design IMO. The old failed boot looks to be the the same clear rubber that came with the Lemforder ball joint that I bought and I am not sure if the quality of Lemforder boots has changed (for the worse) over the years.

My 'send,' messages do not reflect that I actually sent anything. I have no such confusion with my email at clemsontiger1988@yahoo.com.

Never-the-less, I can drive to your shop.

There is a box that you need to check for sent messages to saved in your sent folder. I don't remember exactly where it is, but it's not checked automatically...
