Thanks, I did have a battery failure about 6 months ago which could have caused that code.
The fluid was low so I topped it off at high level, cleared all codes and hoped for the best. Warning was back today.
I'll re-check current codes and get back.
Thanks

OK just re-checked the codes after clearing them and a 30 miles loop.
The Only remaining code is C215C Check Stop lamp Switch

This seems like good news, is it???

So now I just need to figure where & how to replace the brake switch!
Is that the switch on the pedal assembly itself?
Thanks

My brake light switch works at least it turns the brake lights on. I'm guessing it also sends a single to the computer and maybe that aspect is what's not working???

I don't have a wiring diagram, how many wiring pins are on the switch and are there 2 switches?

Generally, a car with cruise control has a separate circuit that shuts off the cruise control when the brake is pressed, ( normally closed and opens when pedal is pressed ) The SBC might use this or an additional circuit.

I appreciate your replys!
I haven't even looked at it yet, but ordered a replacement. Looks to be as simple 2 or 3 wire switch and they only list one that I can find.

Hope to get the switch in this weekend and see if it clears the code.
No garage and near 100 though!
